Clocaenog Forest

Just under 30 minutes from Bryn Morfydd, Clocaenog Forest is a leafy playground for dogs, with lots of different trails and lake walks to stretch their legs and yours. Nestled within the forest, Bod Petryal offers a gentle circular walk around a small lake, winding through open woodland and along quiet forest paths.

Other highlights include Boncyn Foel Bach, a lovely viewpoint with a picnic spot, and Pincyn Llys, a short walk uphill that rewards you with far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside. Gwydir Forest Park

Pensarn to Abergele

The coastal path between Pensarn and Abergele is a flat, easy 2-mile walk along the North Wales Coast Path. A little further afield, about a 40-minute drive from Bryn Morfydd, but well worth the trip, Talacre is one of North Wales’ most iconic dog-friendly beaches.
