• Loggerheads Country Park - 25-minute drive away, with rivers, woodlands, and plenty of open space for children and dogs to run free.
• Clocaenog Forest - less than a 30-minute drive from Bryn Morfydd, offering peaceful forest trails and scenic viewpoints, perfect for a spring morning stroll.

Coastal adventures

Spring is a fantastic time to visit the stunning North Wales coastline while it’s still quiet. From Bryn Morfydd, you can reach:

• Rhyl to Prestatyn Coastal Walk - a mostly flat, 4.5 to 6-mile route along the Wales Coast Path with sandy beaches and stunning sea views. As it’s along a paved promenade, it’s a great choice for dogs and families with small children.
• Talacre Beach and Point of Ayr Lighthouse - around a 40-minute drive away, this large, sandy beach is perfect for walks, exploring sand dunes, and seaside picnics.
